Highlights

Our professional master program of Engineering Management is positioned on cultivating high-ranking compound managerial talents with financial and economic vision who master modern economic management theories, be familiar with technical knowledge of engineering as well as be good at combining scientific methods with engineering implementation. There are four main sub-categories, big data and business intelligence, engineering management of financial information, construction cost and management, engineering management for cotton industry.

Cultivation goals

The goals of professional master of engineering management in Anhui University of Finance and Economics include: being patriotic, supporting the leadership of  the Communist Party of China, dedicating to socialism construction, abiding by the laws and regulations, having good virtue, having strong social responsibility of serving the country and the people, having good quality both politically and professionally, mastering management science and methods and technical knowledge in related engineering, being able to independently engage in management of engineering projects, becoming high-ranking, compound and application-oriented managerial talents possessing capabilities of planning, organizing, coordinating and decision-making.

 Schooling system and training mode

The professional master program is for part-time engineering management major. Students are expected to have classes on the weekends or intensively. The length of schooling is 2.5 years. Students are awarded professional master degree of engineering management and Graduation certificate once they meet the credit requirements, pass dissertations and defenses and after the approval from the Academic Degrees Evaluation Committee. The training process includes 1 year of courses-based teaching and 1.5 year of practical teaching. The practical teaching can be professional practice, social practice and dissertations.
