The online opening ceremony of 12th Young Marxists training project undergraduate backbone training class in school of management science and engineering was held on the afternoon of April 26. More than 120 persons participated in the ceremony, including Cuiping Xu, deputy secretary of the Party committee, Ting Li, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, Qianqian Yang, deputy secretary of the part-time Youth League Committee, some student leaders and activists joining the communist youth league. The opening ceremony was presided over by Ting Li.

At the opening ceremony, Cuiping Xu introduced the development background, training aims and training objects of Young Marxist training project, and put forward four hopes and requirements for the trainees as follows. First, we should keep in mind the six requirements proposed by the General Secretary for the youth in the new era, and we should inherit and promote the May 4th spirit; Second, we should strengthen the study of political theory and firm our ideal and faith; Third, we should actively put into social practice and pay attention to ability training; Fourth, we should enhance the awareness of the backbone and give play to the role of demonstration and guidance, so that we can indeed become a practitioner, supporter and disseminator of Marxism .

After the opening ceremony, the trainees will take part in three special topics of study, including the effective guidance of young students' ideas in the new era, letting the banner of patriotism flying high in heart, and the special education of epidemic situation.
